Show great...venue....not so much
The venue, which I would have given one star, is the only reason I dropped it to 4 stars. I've been to MANY festivals and was prepared to not sit through some of the opening acts. But, that wasn't the case this time. The event itself was great. Buckeye stadium (in the area where we were sitting - section 25AA) was thoroughly disorganized and FILTHY. The men's room stunk and was filthy worse than any restroom I've used in my life (to include port-a-pottys). The acts were GREAT! I was in my seat almost the entire time. With that said, the food selection was minimal. I ordered a pizza from Donatos (I think that is the spelling) and they said "we don't have a pepperoni pizza, it'll be 4 minutes and I said I'll wait. About a minute later she hands me a pizza, and moments later I take a bite, and someone had apparently taken a cheese pizza and put cold pepperoni on it. Towards the end of Blake Shelton's set, I went to get a beer, and they were out of Bud Light at two vendors and were restocking at another with less than cold beer. So, if you have a chance to see any of the bands that played at this festival...SEE THEM! If you have a chance to see or do anything at The Fixx - The Band....pass on it!
